The Genova design uses a mixture of 20cm squares alternating with another 20cm square made up from 10cm squares surrounded by 5cm squares to make a nice chequer board pattern sewn with a zig-zag stitch.
Genova is made using
dyed jet black cowhide however it is possible to make using any other plain natural cowhide colour or other plain dyed colours like chocolate brown or deep red. Colour changes will most likely change the price so please
contact us for a quote for custom colours.
Cowhide stitched rugs are generally
made to order and take about 8-10 weeks. Some colours made experience short out of stock delays but we will always keep you informed as your order progresses.

About cowhide stitched rugs
A cowhide stitched rug is a rug made from pieces of cowhide sewn together with a zigzag stitch and backed with a non-slip padded rug backing. Sometimes this is called a cowhide patchwork rug.
A cowhide stitched rug is a way of injecting some cowhide texture into your interior without having the natural cowhide shape. They are also great when a natural cowhide would not be big enough like under a large dining table or in a large lounge.
